Before You Come
What to Expect
Nothing unusual, and nothing asked of you. You may sit and listen the whole time if that is what you would rather do.

Congregational hymns, with our choir helping to lead. Nobody minds how well you sing.

Welcome
You will be met at the door. It is a small church, so a visitor is noticed — and glad to be noticed.
We are a barangay church. We meet in a simple open-sided building — a metal roof on timber posts, plastic chairs, the breeze coming straight through. There is no air conditioning. That is not something we apologise for; it is where God has put us, and it is where more than a hundred souls have been baptized.
Come dressed as you would for any respectful occasion. We ask only for modesty — there is no other dress requirement.
There are always children in the service, and a good many of them. Nobody will mind yours.
The People
Who You Will Meet
Families from the surrounding barangays — parents and grandparents, young people, and a good number of children. Many of them first heard the gospel because someone came and knocked on their door.
Pastor Melfer De la Paz preaches and looks after the day-to-day work of the church, serving under Pastor Ryan S. Buscato of Bible Baptist Church, Cordova, Cebu. Rebuilder is still a mission church of that work, and Pastor Melfer is usually the first man you will shake hands with.

Inabanga sits on the north coast of Bohol, between Buenavista and Talibon, and is reached by bus or van from Tagbilaran. If you are coming across from Cebu by fast craft, tell us when you expect to land and we will point you to the right onward ride.
The simplest thing is to ask us first. Send a short message with the day you plan to come and where you are travelling from, and someone will answer with directions.
